Join Montana BHA Chapter Leader Matt Rinella and fellow BHA members for a stewardship project on private lands enrolled in FWP's Block Management Program.
The Hollowell family are one of hundreds of Montana families who routinely open their property up to public access and public hunting through Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Block Management program. As a small gesture of our gratitude, a group of BHA members will be heading out to their property near Hysham on Sunday, July 19th for a half-day work project pulling fencing and improving the habitat for wildlife.
We will meet at City Brew in Miles City at 719 S Haynes Ave, Miles City, MT 59301 at 6:00 a.m., where coffee and snacks will be provided by BHA. From there, we will caravan to the Hollowell BMA property, working until about 12:30 p.m. before enjoying a BHA-provided lunch and caravanning back to town. Social distancing will be encouraged and steps will be taken to ensure the safety of participants.
It's important that sportsmen and women continue to show our appreciation to the families enrolling their private lands in Montana's Block Management Program if we want and expect the program to continue to thrive and provide public opportunities to help keep our hunting heritage alive.
Hope you can join us.
