event_description: 2025 Black Bear BonanzaTICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOORHere we go folks, the 2025 Black Bear Bonanza is coming up and were excited to bring you this annual highlight once again!Presented by: Vortex, Umarex, and ONX Maps.Join us at the Benton County Fairgrounds on March 1st beginning at 9am for an outstanding day filled with celebrating the most successful reintroduction of a large carnivore in the history of the world – black bears in Arkansas! This family friendly event has activities and entertainment for the whole family, all of your friends, and even a few folks you dont know yet. At Black Bear Bonanza, youll have an opportunity engage with a number of passionate conservationists that strive to maintain and improve your hunting and angling opportunities. Sure enough, this year we have Clay Newcomb and Brent Reaves joining us too. Not only do these guys bring education, humor, and friendly faces to the event, they also exhibit that inner fire and drive that we all share for the outdoors and our traditions! Engage with conservation organizations and enjoy interactive displays and activities from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Education Division, designed for all ages.   🍴 Culinary Delights:Savor delicious food from local food trucks! There will even be some adult beverages available too! 🏕️ Camping OptionsWe are excited to continue offering camping on site for 202511 sites with electricity (6 50/30Amp sites with water and 5 30/50amp sites without water) - $65 total for Friday and Saturday nights Get Em While They Last!40 primitive tent camping sites - $40 total for Friday and Saturday nightsIf you purchase a campsite, you MUST contact our event camping coordinator Kip Kruger through email at Coachkruger07gmail.com to receive your campsite number. Campground information and rules:1 camper + 1 vehicle or 2 tents + 1 vehicle per campsite ticket.  All campsites are on unimproved grassy areas.  In the case of wet weather, campers park at their own risk.Water available at various locations on site but not at every campsite.Restrooms on site.No wood fires allowed. Propane "fire pits" are allowed. There will be one or more "community campfires" for all to enjoy that BHA volunteers will manage unless a county burn ban is in place.Campsite ticket purchase includes 2 nights camping. Check in starting 3pm Friday Feb. 28th and check out by 11am Sunday March 2nd. (Camping ticket does not include event ticket.)Please set up on your assigned campsite number, do not switch sites upon arrival. Generators are welcome; however, we do ask you remain courteous to your neighbors and please turn off generators between 11pm - 6am.  Black Bear Bonanza isnt just all about bears (well mostly about bears), its about you, its about our youth, its about conservation, its about our public lands, and its about how we all can work together for the future of our outdoor heritage!
