Brian will be talking about what kinds of habitat enhancements the Private Lands Program implements each spring and fall, as well as ways to get involved with those projects as a volunteer. Brian will also talk about the popular Public Access on Private Lands programs what allow public recreation on those private properties. This will include ways to find properties to hunt or fish, as well as how to use the growing Hunting by Reservation Only program, which allows the public to reserve private properties for hunting. And then finally, Brian will provide a short update about the Farm Bill Program and how it relates to some of the work WDFW has assisted with. Brian Gaston has worked for WDFW for the past 5 years and is also a Hunter Education Instructor and an avid hunter. When not hunting, Brian works enjoys retriever training with his 3yr old Chocolate Lab and 1yr old Yellow Lab.
