Join the Auburn University BHA club for their 2nd annual dove hunt and public land pack-out in celebration of Public Lands Month! The hunt will open 30 minutes before sunrise until sunset, and particpants will pick up trash throughout the day. Hot lunch, beverages, trash bags, and gloves will be provided. Volunteers should bring work gloves, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, snacks and water.
This event is a part of BHA's Public Land Pack Out, an annual event where members maintain the places they love by picking up and taking out thousands of bags of garbage left in the places everyone can call their own. Last year, during one of the most difficult times we can remember, BHA members broke a record and hefted 4,175 bags of garbage out from our public lands. And with your help in 2021, we hope to crush our 10,000 bag goal.
