Join us for our first Backcountry Women's event at LA Clays!
Tickets to this event include private instruction from a Level II NSCA Certified Instructor, 50 clays, refreshments and a membership to BHA! Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn the basics about shotgun shooting and/or hone your skills for the field this fall.
Participants will provide their own shotgun and ammunition (rentals are available at the range but should be planned ahead to be sure). Plan on shooting 50-100 rounds, but actual target counts will likely be about 50 per person. Shells needs to be lead (no steel) 7.5 or smaller, no magnums.
The range will require waivers to be filled out online beforehand and each person will need to check in with a valid ID. Each person will need eye and ear protection and hats are a good idea. Clothing should include something that covers the shoulder area (no tank tops or camisoles) and sensible closed toe shoes that can get dirty. The instructor recommends that ladies wear sports bras (no buckles on the shoulder) and minimal jewelry (earrings, bracelets and rings can scratch guns and get in the way).
