Did you know BHA has a reward program to help stop illegal OHV usage? The Arkansas BHA Chapter is partnering with the Dale Bumpers White River National Wildlife Refuge to place reward program signage throughout the refuge. This signage will raise awareness about our program and serve as a deterrent to illegal practices that negatively impact the habitat.
Join us at 8 am Saturday August 5th at the Refuge Visitor Center at 57 S. CC Camp Road, Saint Charles, Arkansas 72140. We will break into teams with Refuge employees to fan out across the Refuge to place the reward signs at kiosks and in known problem areas on both the North and South Units. We will double our impact by picking up any trash we see along the roadways as part of our Public Land Packouts sponsored by ONX Maps.
Volunteers are invited to bring their own ATV or UTV if they would like. Cordless drills, gloves, snacks, food and drinks are also a good idea to bring along with your bug repellent, after all it’s August in the Delta!
