New England's MA AFI is hosting a Merrimack River Clean-up!
Why You Should Want to Attend:
Help preserve a historic, public land shad fishing location used by hundreds of visitors.
What is it:
Attendees will meet at the parking lot of Nancy Chippendales Dance Studio and then make their way to the river. They will work together to clean and ensure the safety of the area for visitors then gather for lunch provided by New England's MA Armed Forces Initiative Detachment. Afterwards, members are invited to stay and fish provided they bring a pole and the required license.
Attendees should bring:
- muck boots or waders
- gloves
- trash bags
- water
-fishing pole and license
When is it:
22 June @ 10:00 a.m.

Merrimack River

Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
- You do not need to be a BHA member to attend
(but we sure would appreciate it if you were)
