Whether you’re a novice or an experienced hunter, join us for this family friendly and fun camp and learn all about Arizona’s huntable squirrel species, get hunting techniques, and even processing and cooking tips. Most importantly, get out and enjoy hunting squirrels in Arizona’s beautiful ponderosa pine forests. The camp will be held in a meadow at the base of Mormon Mountain near Flagstaff. Fri, Sept 30th through Sun October 1st (but feel free to come camp Thursday night too)Come prepared to camp in a primitive setting with no amenities (water, shelter, etc.) available.Look forward to several presentations including a small game hunting talk on Friday and a falconry talk on Saturday. Saturday night we will be holding a wild game potluck so feel free to bring a dish (wild game or not) to share.We will have a very small number of mentors available if you’re not comfortable going out alone just yet. Attendees must abide by all camping and hunting regulations and come with the appropriate licenses.Exact camp location will be sent via confirmation email after registration.RSVPs for this years squirrel camp are now closed due to capacity.
