2018 Colorado Chapter Rendezvous

The Colorado BHA 2018 Chapter Rendezvous will be on June 1-3 at the Lakeview campground in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest (about 29 miles north of Buena Vista) in the vicinity of the Twin Lakes Reservoir (2,805 acres) and Mount Elbert (14,433 ft.). We’ve reserved campsites C1-C8 (an entire loop of the campground), which can accommodate some 64 people and 16 cars/RVs.

If we run out of space in C loop, all the sites in D and E are first-come-first-serve. Also lots of dispersed camping around. Consider carpooling if possible, as we can only have two cars per campsite. If you’re planning to attend, let chapter chair, David Lien ([email protected]), know. And if you’re willing/able to contribute any of the following (see below), also let David know:

  1. A load or two of firewood will be useful.
  2. An extra water jug or two to assist with extinguishing campfires.
  3. Two to three medium-sized propane stoves for group cooking.
  4. Any wild game you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.

See this link for additional information and we look forward to seeing you in camp!
