The Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) voices opposition to SB 1964

"Senator Creighton recently filed SB 1964 on behalf of Texas A&M University in an effort to change the legislated land use of Jones SF. This bill would allow for the “use or lease” of “land in Jones State Forest for the construction of buildings or improvements for multipurpose uses, including academic, research, and private commercial uses…”"

TX BHA response to the potential use of Kaput to control hog populations

The Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) would like to voice our reservations about the proposed state-limited-use classification for Kaput Feral Hog Bait. BHA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, with chapters in 26 states and over 150,000 members/supporters, dedicated to serving as the sportsmen’s voice for our wild public lands, waters, and wildlife.
