In Colorado, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is currently making decisions which will direct the management of thousands of acres of public land on the Western Slope by updating Resource Management Plans (RMP) in the Grand Junction and Domiguez-Escalante Districts.  Sportsmen understand that to ensure that this area continues to produce healthy populations of wildlife, and thus quality hunting opportunities, it's crucial that large tracts of non-motorized habitat be maintained.  In the following video, retired wildlife biologists, ATV users and public land hunters highlight why maintaining non-motorized habitat and recreational opportunities is important to them.  If you're interested in speaking-up for Western Colorado's backcountry, become a BHA member or contact us here.
