Idaho BHA volunteer project at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge

Idaho BHA is looking for volunteers for a stewardship project at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, September 22. Volunteers will replace bark on one of the refuges environmental education/public use trails using wheelbarrows, rakes and shovels. Volunteers should plan to meet at the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge headquarters at 9:00AM. The project should take 3-4 hours and volunteers are welcome to leave early if needed. Work pants and shirts, sturdy footwear and gloves are recommended. There is a vault toilet at the project site. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Joy Billings at bill0600@vandals.uidaho.edu. Joy is a leader in the BHA Club at the University of Idaho.
