It was a fantastic evening of great conversations and community at Black Spruce Brewing Company. We were excited to welcome wildlife researcher Dr. Ellen Candler at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and her graduate student Ian, who shared fascinating insights into Alaska’s scavengers, resource utilization relationships, and the important role that “offal” plays in supporting wildlife across the landscape. Thanks to everyone who came out, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make it such an engaging discussion. Events like these remind us that conservation starts with curious people coming together to learn from one another. A special thank you to Black Spruce Brewing Company for hosting us and for helping make this event possible.
