CA BHA hosted a fantastic Bustin Clays event at Birds Landing

BHA volunteers and friends gathered to prepare for a season of chasing birds at Birds Landing Hunting Preserve. Duck enthusiasts and first-time shooters alike grouped up to take on the 50-clay course. Afterward, we spent time sharing a meal, discussing hunting plans, and examining the threats to our current public lands and what we as hunters can do to make our voices heard.

With sharpened shooting skills and a renewed sense of community, we drove away from Birds Landing excited to take on the upcoming season. We are planning several other Bustin' Clays events in 2026, so stay tuned!
