BCIYBY Pasadena 2025: Recap Joel Weltzien / Wednesday, October 15, 2025 / Categories: Chapter News Stories flowed and wild game was devoured at our Backcountry in Your Backyard event in Pasadena, which brought new faces into the world of hunting and conservation. Gathering at Orvis Pasadena, BHA staff, volunteers, and Minority Outdoor Alliance founder Durrell Smith met with 30 attendees. We talked about wild food, learned the first steps to getting afield, and shared what makes public lands so special and how folks can get engaged in defending them. It was inspiring to see so many new folks beginning or furthering their commitment to public lands and conservation. Huge thanks to @minorityoutdooralliance, @orvispasadena, and everyone who joined us around the table. Special shoutout to @hawxhurst410 for his incredible photos!
