BHA Podcasts

Welcome to BHA’s new website! This digital campfire is still being built—thanks for bearing with us as we get it burning bright.

Hunting. Angling. Public Lands. That's the meat of what the BHA Podcast & Blasts  are about, and we cover the gamut. With guests that range from backcountry hunters, outdoor writers and policy experts to legendary anglers and some of our community’s most prominent voices, we seek to uncover the stories, the truths, the controversies and the epic conversations fostered by our public lands heritage.

NEW for 2026, BHA's Podcast & Blast features three distinct segments. Episodes are released weekly from:

Backcountry Report (~20 minutes): Fastpaced news and information show consisting of three main segments: Conservation News Headlines, Policy Watch, and Boots on the Ground. The focus are the actions BHA is taking across North America on behalf of public lands, waters, and wildlife. Released bi-weekly.

Backcountry Conversations (45-60 minutes): Traditional longform conservations featuring members of the BHA community or conservation professionals. Here we tell hunting and angling stories and learn more about BHA's one-of-a-kind community. Episodes released monthly.

Conservation Cooperative (~20 minutes): An informative narrative journalism style podcast featuring multiple perspectives on conservation science and policy issues facing public lands, waters, and wildlife. Episodes released monthly.
