Matt Shilling is an entrepreneur with a deep passion for wild places. He carries experience in the private sector as an advisor, board member, executive, and founder of multiple companies and nonprofit organizations.

Shilling also had the honor of serving at the highest levels of the public sector. Among other roles, he served in The White House where his portfolio included agriculture, energy, the environment, and homeland security.

An ardent believer in giving back to the community, Shilling served as a volunteer firefighter for thirteen years. He and his family reside in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
