Join Missouri BHA after our Working For Wildlife Tour Stewardship Event for our Working for Wildlife- Stewardship Stories. We will welcome Mark Kenyon, Doren Miller, and Jason Summers for an afternoon of celebrating with a fun afternoon of guest speakers, giving back to our public lands, prizes, games, and raffles.

2:00 PM: Doren Miller- Miller Fur Co.
Former president of the Missouri Trappers Association and Owner of Miller Fur Company will give a presentation on the importance of managing egg eaters and how to get started trapping on public or private lands. Doren will demo several different types of traps and will have multiple animal pelts available for the kids to check out!
3:00 PM: Jason Sumners- Deputy Director- Missouri Department of Conservation.
Jason has worked for Missouri Department of Conservation for more than 15 years, leading Missouri’s white-tailed deer management program, playing an important role in the state’s elk reintroduction efforts, initiating a private lands deer management program, and leading the Department’s efforts to develop and implement a CWD management and surveillance strategy.
Jason has served as Wildlife Division Chief and Resource Science Branch Chief prior to taking on his current role as Deputy Director. When not on the job, Jason enjoys spending time in the outdoors with family and chasing wild critters in wild places across the western US.
4:00 PM: Mark Kenyon – MeatEater- Wired To Hunt Podcast
Mark Kenyon is the author of That Wild Country, founder of Wired To Hunt, and host of the industry-leading Wired To Hunt Podcast. He is a nationally published writer, a QDMA certified Deer Steward, and MeatEater's resident "whitetail guy."
Mark will be speaking on his passion for public land stewardship as well as sharing some amazing hunting stories you will want to hear!
