event_description: Join the Oregon Chapter of BHA, BLM, USFS and ODFW for a morning of fence repair and retro-fitting boarding the Deschutes National Forest. Help migrating mule deer and elk by converting old fence lines into wildlife friendly fencing. This event is open to the public and is family friendly.We will be meeting on Saturday, May 11th and starting 9AM. Please arrive by 8:30am for safety debrief, donuts and refreshments. *************MEETING LOCATION CHANGE*************NEW MEETING LOCATION HEREPlease bring appropriate clothing for the weather and rough terrain:Closed toed shoes or bootsLong pantsLong Sleeve shirt at minimum GlovesTools and some PPE (personal protective equipment, ie gloves, eyewear, etc.) will be provided but please bring your own if you have them.Please bring plenty of water as well as lunch/snacks.*************Campout and BBQ Canceled*************Post work party lunch will replace evening BBQ.
