Join Montana BHA and Montana FWP at the R1 Headquarters as we host a CWD sampling clinic. Area biologists will discuss CWD in the Flathead Valley and how testing can help. Hunters are encouraged to have their elk and deer tested for CWD and can collect the necessary biological materials themselves! This clinic will focus on teaching hunters how to remove the lymph nodes of their deer or elk and the steps for submitting samples to MT FWP for CWD testing.
Deer heads will be available to learn and practice on, but successful hunters are encouraged to bring their animal heads to the clinic!
