Canada’s Yukon Territory is home to vast swaths of remote and beautiful wilderness. This sparsely populated land provides great opportunities for hunters and anglers to explore valleys, forests, mountains, rivers, and lakes that are in pristine, natural condition. However, there are also many different interests in Yukon. Mining, outfitting, conservation, and a rich First Nations’ history are all important facets of our modern Yukon. These groups must find ways to work together to share and protect Yukon's resources. Yukon BHA strives to work with other stakeholders to advocate for responsible and science-based decisions on matters that affect resident hunters and anglers throughout the territory. We hope that a Yukon Chapter of BHA serves as a strong, independent platform to ensure that resident hunters and anglers have a voice.
