An Armed Forces Initiative fly fishing camp designed specifically for AFI leaders. We’ll cover foundational knowledge of public lands, advocacy, and how to lead your state or installation, in the midst of an immersive fly fishing experience.
We’ll camp along the Yellowstone River in the infamous Paradise Valley; learn about trout, trout habitat and behaviors, cold water fisheries, and fly fishing techniques and tactics. We’ll walk and wade the Yellowstone River, walk and wade the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, and float the Yellowstone River.
No prior fly fishing experience is required. Application closes March 3rd.
