Public Lands Packout
September 24th is National Public Lands Day and what better way to celebrate this day than with a little stewardship! Come out on September 24th and join the West Virginia BHA Chapter at the Big Draft Wilderness to clean up an illegal dump site. We all need to work together to keep our public lands clean and accessible and this is a great way for us to come together as a group and make that impact.
What to bring: gloves, boots, ropes for hauling trash up a steep embankment, and whatever snacks, drinks or personal gear you need.
Camping is available at the Blue Meadows group site Friday and Saturday night.
We will be meeting at 9am at the White Sulpher USFS Ranger Station and from there we will disburse to the site.
Pint Night:
After our hard work we will head on over to Big Draft Brewery from 6-8pm for a some rewards for our efforts! Whether you can make the packout or jus the pint night, we hope to see you!!
