Would you like to be more involved? Here's your chance to do some actual hands on conservation work!
Join the West Virginia Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the West Virginia Deer Association at Snake Hill WMA on June 29th from 8am-2pm as we assist the WVDNR in un-marking illegal trails, timber stand management, raking and clearing firebreaks for future prescribed burning, and herbicide work.
Please RSVP below by June 14th so we can get a head count of volunteers to better plan what we can accomplish. Please bring long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, hat, gloves, and eye protection. Water and snacks will be provided, but it's always a good idea to bring additional to stay hydrated. Stay tuned to our social media accounts and email for additional information.
