Fishing experts Michele White, Erin Crider, and a small army of volunteers, will provide 2 to 1 fishing guidance and participants will learn:How your purchase of a fishing license funds conservation work in ColoradoThe ongoing work of promoting healthy fisheries across the WestEverything you need to know about finding, buying, and setting up gearMultiple types of casting techniques and when to use themFishing methodologies for targeting fish in various bodies of waterPlus lots and lots of active fishing time!Requirements:This event will take place at a private fishing camping resort in Florissant, Colorado. All participants must:Be aged 18 years or olderRespect all land-use expectations laid out during orientationRespect all participants and facilitators Make safety your first priorityBe comfortable sleeping outdoors in a tentListen to and adhere to instructions from mentors and facilitatorsPrice:Our goal is to make all CO Camp programs inclusive and accessible. The ticket price you pay will go directly towards the expense of running the camp. As one of our selected participants for the WitW Fly Fishing Camp, please use the link below to pay the $50 fee to secure your spot.This would not be possible without our amazing volunteers and partners, including the Pikes Peak Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the West Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited, and all of our folks at Backcountry Hunters & Anglers to give time to make these events happen.Equipment:Packing lists will be sent to the selected participants, so if you haven’t seen anything yet, stay tuned. In short, you will need to bring clothes, toiletries, and your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, camp chair). All fishing gear, meals, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.Participant Application: This event is geared towards providing folks with personalized 2 to 1 instruction with our mentors. To that end we are limiting the event to 20 total participants.
