Are you curious to try waterfowl or upland hunting this season, or want to get in some extra shooting practice? Join us for a Wingshooting 101 event at Major Waldon Sportsmen’s Association in Barrington, NH on September 26th! We’ll cover basic shotgun handling and fit, pointing versus aiming, and how to hit moving targets. After the safety and instructional discussion, we’ll hit the trap field to put that knowledge to practice, then we’ll wrap up the evening with some grilled burgers and dogs for those that want to stick around!
No gun? No problem! We’ll have a few shotguns available that folks can try out. And since ammo is in short supply, we’ll be providing the first box of shells (12ga or 20ga) to registered participants. For those that want to shoot more, the club has some ammo available for purchase or you can bring your own (please make sure shot size is no larger than 7 ½). Also remember to bring eye and ear protection!
Spots are limited, so you must RSVP below in order to participate. While this is geared more for beginners, all are welcome!
