Join DNR and the Indiana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) at a Volunteer Field Day at Winamac FWA. Volunteers will enjoy the sights at Winamac as they work on a variety of projects to improve Winamac FWA for fish, wildlife & people. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to assist with hauling cut invasive honeysuckle and oriental bittersweet, painting gates, and cleaning up trash around parking lots and main property roadways. No experience necessary!
Volunteers should wear long pants, a lightweight long-sleeve shirt, and close-toed shoes. Please bring and apply insect repellent as ticks and mosquitos are active this time of year. Bring water, snacks, and work gloves. Bring eye protection if you have it, otherwise it will be provided by DNR.
