THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. PLEASE EMAIL NEWMEXICO@BACKCOUNTRYHUNTERS.ORG IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN OUR NEXT WILD GAME TASTING EVENT.

We are excited to bring you New Mexico's most exclusive wild game tasting.

To kick things off, guests will learn about bighorn sheep recovery efforts in New Mexico from NMDGF Bighorn Sheep Biologist Caitlin Ruhl. Following her short presentation, Chef Dave Sellers of the Street Food Institute will be cooking live and answering questions along the way. Small plates of each recipe will be served and we hope to have local beer on hand to enjoy as well. Desert Big Horn sheep is on the menu along with other wild game, making this a once in a lifetime opportunity for many.

The night's raffle will include original paintings from local artist Isaac Martinez and Vortex binoculars. There are only 40 seats available and we expect them to sell out so buy your tickets now.

Huge thank you to Canteen Brewhouse for donating beer for this event!

About Backcountry Hunters & Anglers

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers seeks to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters. We provide a unique voice for sportsmen and women who value conservation and the future of our heritage and family traditions. We represent the challenge, solitude and adventure that only the backcountry can provide, and we are working hard with boots on the ground at all levels to ensure that our roadless areas and backcountry are protected for the fish and wildlife that thrive there.
