Join the Michigan Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers in Partnership with the US Forest Service to remove dilapidated cattle fencing and metal posts within the Wilbur Creek Property of the Huron National Forest. This Fencing currently prevents habitat projects from moving forward.
Dress appropriately for cleanup and please bring safety glasses, leather/heavy work gloves, long sleeves, and a hard hat if you own one.
*** Tick prevalent area – take precautions as needed.
Volunteers are welcome to camp on site and a local county campground with modern amenities is nearby at Alcona Park.
