Join AZ BHA to assist AZGFD in stocking Gila trout in the White Mountains on Saturday, November 3rd! We need 5-10 people to help out. Volunteers should wear comfortable hiking boots, appropriate clothing for a fairly long (1.5-2 hour) hike and be prepared for fairly intense physical activity. Volunteers should also bring their own food for the day and plenty of water.
AZGFD will provide pack frames/cooler setups for volunteers or if you prefer your own pack that is fine. The drive to the Stray Horse Campground from Pinetop is somewhat far so make sure you allow yourself enough time for travel. We will meet at 10 am at the Stray Horse Campground south of Alpine.
