As the Hampton Roads AFI club continues to grow we are working to build on the relationship with Virginia DWR. This is an opportunity to show those that manage our public lands that we are serious about our commitment to those lands we so cherish. Any time we can get members of our military community together for a common cause such as this we are a force to be reckoned with. Come join us in helping to clean up this wonder piece of public land and be part of a team that is committed to conservation.
Location: Meet at Millers Road entrance by the big yellow gate and kiosk and I'll let the volunteers drive though and close it. 37.455825, -76.780280
Other Details: Everyone should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring water, snacks, and gloves. If you have hand pruners, loppers, reciprocating saws with wood blades, or pole saws, you are welcome to bring them.
