WHAT TO EXPECT: Walton's Inc, Kansas Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, and Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors have collaborated to bring you a one-of-a-kind meat processing class. If you recently harvested a deer, or plan to in the future, this class is for you! Learn how to take your deer from field to freezer. KS BHA president, Kurt Ratzlaff will walk you through how to quarter your deer and prepare it for processing. Kurt Ratzlaff spent most of his first 18 years as an unpaid laborer in his dad's butcher shop in Colorado. He now enjoys participating in the evolution of DIY wild game processing. Kurt currently serves as Chair of the Kansas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers.
RAFFLES: We will have a couple raffles for our guests to participate in to help raise money for both KS BHA and Pass It On Outdoor Mentors.
