A need for change: What all hunters need to know about the Ellis Integrated Vegetation Project
Join the Oregon chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers on Wednesday, March 9th from 6-7:30 PM PST with our special guest Elizabeth Berkley, Ellis Integrated Vegetation Project Interdisciplinary Team Lead. This virtual pint night will provide Oregon hunters a detailed summary about this potentially transformational landscape level project, describe what its full implementation could mean to hunters and explain how to participate in the public comment period on this important project
Elizabeth (Lizzy) Berkley received a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2008. She worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 8 years as a Wildlife Biologist on the Refuge System and is currently the Forest Wildlife Biologist for the U.S. Forest Service on the Umatilla National Forest. Her interests are restoration ecology, wildlife management, and being a good steward of our public lands.
