On January 30th, 2020 nearly 300 people gathered to watch the International Fly Fishing Film Festival hosted by the Utah State University Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Collegiate Club. For the second year in a row, USU BHA packed the house at the Utah Theatre to raise funds to protect our public lands and give back to the lands in Cache Valley. Members of the local community as well as people from hours away in Utah and Idaho came together for the love of fly fishing and conservation.

"The International Fly Fishing Film Festival consists of short and feature-length films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe, showcasing the passion, lifestyle, and culture of fly fishing. The films at this popular event are capturing the attention of anglers around the world. IF4™ contains exclusive content and is a must-see experience coming to a theater near you!" (flyfilmfest.com)
Through events like this, we hope to recruit, retain and reactivate people's passions for our public lands while raising funds necessary to protect and conserve these wild places. IF4 has been tremendously successful in Logan so we plan to bring in more film festivals later this year.
