On July 13th the U.S Forest Service will hold a listening session on the future of sulfide copper ore mining development in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. We need you to join BHA in speaking-up for maintaining the cold, wild and productive waters that help make the Boundary Waters America's most visited Wilderness area.
RSVP below!
Cant make it? You can still add your voice to the thousands of sportsmen and women that have spoken-up on behalf of this unique backcountry hunting and fishing destination.
The U.S. Forest Service has already said that it is deeply concerned about the inherent risks associated with sulfide mining operations within the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Now is the time to join fellow backcountry hunters, anglers and recreationists in urging the Forest Service to Stop Sulfide Mining in the Boundary Waters Watershed.
Join us on July 13th by RSVPing below. Additional updates will be provided to all who RSVP. And be sure to also sign our petition! We look forward to seeing you on the 13th!
