The Trails Without Trash Initiative is a proactive approach to clean up the environment. This initiative will include groups picking up trash in and around Minneapolis!
Participate and pick up trash with your household wherever you live Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. RSVP to the event and take a picture of the trash you pick up. Follow up by filling out a feedback survey after the event and you'll be eligible to win prizes!
Some locations to pick up trash include:
Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge
Spring Lake WMA
Three Rivers Park District
Theodore Worth Park
Lake Elmo Park Reserve
Afton State Park
U of M campus
Burdock is an invasive species around Minneapolis. There is an option to remove burdock from Minnehaha Creek. Please reach out if this portion is of interest to you!
