BHA is looking for 10 volunteers to join us for a trail improvement project on the Flathead National Forest near Kalispell, MT. No experience is necessary and meals/snacks and tools will be provided. Volunteers will primarily complete brushing and clearing work on 2.2 miles of trail starting Sylvia Lake and heading towards Ingalls Mountain.
If you want to camp, we will be meeting Saturday night around 6:00pm at Sylvia Lake Campground. Dehydrated meals from Gastrognome will be provided. Otherwise, volunteers should plan to meet Sunday morning at 8:00am at Sylvia Lake Campground. We will work until 3:00pm or until the work is complete. Volunteers should plan to bring a small day pack, water, field clothes, hiking boots, and dress appropriately for the weather (mornings will be cool, but days will be warm).
