Join BHA on Saturday, July 24 from 9am to 5pm for a fencing project on BLM lands in southern Park County. The project will involve removing old barbed wire fencing within critical winter range for both mule deer and elk. The fence removal will facilitate movement for mule deer, elk, and pronghorn to crucial winter foraging areas and a creek.
We will meet south of Guffey at 9am, at the intersection of Park County Road 102 and State Highway 9, next to Mountain Aries Market. After meeting, we will drive to the fencing location, approximately 15 minutes drive west of the meeting site. Bring boots, gloves, working clothes, water, and sunscreen. Lunch will be provided.
