Everything's bigger in Texas right?
Well, unfortunately, the Texas chapter of BHA is only the 9th largest chapter in North America and that's just not good enough for us! Although we don't expect to become THE largest chapter by year-end, we're not going to waste any time!
We're happy to announce our 2019 Membership Drive. With your help in buying or renewing your own membership, buying a gift membership, or forwarding this email to friends, we're confident we'll have a Texas-sized chapter soon enough.
Summer Membership Drive
TX BHA had set a very ambitious goal of doubling membership by the end of 2019 (just like we succeeded in doing in 2018). It won't be easy! To help us reach this milestone, we've teamed up with a few supportive companies to help us provide a little extra incentive to join TX BHA ranks.
With each BHA membership purchase, you'll receive a chance to win one of 3 great prizes: (1) a Stone Glacier Avail 2200 backpack, (2) the brand new (yet-to-be-released) 3L Ultralight Rain Jacket by Duck Camp, or (3) the Cargo Hunting Trailer from Backcountry E-Bikes. Multiple gift memberships will give you multiple chances to win, and you can distribute each membership purchase among any of the prize "pots". See instructions below.
Instructions
Sign up, renew, or purchase a gift membership (only $25) for a friend or family member (or multiple) online at backcountryhunters.org/join and forward your membership welcome/confirmation email(s) to [email protected] with the subject line “Membership Drive: Entry for [Choose one: Pack, Jacket, or Trailer]” and we will send you a unique e-number upon verification.
For example, if you want to try your luck at winning the Stone Glacier backpack, the subject line of your forwarded email should state “Membership Drive: Entry for Pack"
*Physical address for membership must be in Texas.
The 3 winners will be randomly selected live on TX BHA's Instagram during the last week of December.
We hope you'll participate and help to make Texas BHA THE biggest and most influential chapter in North America!
