Thank you for joining the Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Adult Mentored Hunting Program. This program is geared towards adults with little or no hunting experience. We hope this course not only opens your eyes to a sustainable and ethical method of hunting for meat, but also enhances your respect for the animal, the land, and the connected network of ecosystems found throughout Texas. Objectives of this course are to provide adults 21 and older with knowledge, skills, and mentorship in the field so that they are able to continue and pass on to their own family and friends the rich hunting heritage that fulfills so many other conservation-minded sportsmen.
This enrollment fee is to cover a portion of program costs. Included in this cost is a 1-year membership to BHA ($35 value) which includes a quarterly newsletter, email updates, and invitations to BHA events throughout Texas and across the country.
