Popular with horse packers and fall hunters, the Summit Trailhead along Highway 2 leads to some of the wildest country in the Crown of the Continent ecosystem.
Last year, in partnership with the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, the Montana Chapter of BHA adopted the Summit Trailhead. Our annual responsibilities include combatting the spread and presence of noxious weeds, maintaining the trailhead facilities and educating the public and various user groups on the need to stay weed-free.
Our second annual work project will be on Saturday, August 3rd.
BMWF & BHA will provide tools, group gear and a picnic lunch.
Volunteers will meet at the John F. Stevens statue at Marias Pass along Highway 2.
