Sultan Basin 2024 Recap

Over the weekend of June 24th, 27 public land enthusiasts from Washington Backcountry Hunters and Anglers and Trash No Land worked with WA DNR to clean a shooting area in Snohomish County, WA.

For the third year in a row, volunteers worked for several hours picking up trash including shells, targets, and large pieces of metal. These efforts help to keep sites like this open, ensure access to DNR lands, create a better shooting experience, and help the overall health of OUR forest and wildlife. By the end of the cleanup, the crew had shuttled thousands of pounds of trash.

Huge thank you to Trash No Land (@trashnoland) for the partnership, lunch, and tools. And a big thanks to WA Department of Natural Resources
(@washdnr) for providing garbage bags, hauling the trash away, and paying for dumping fees.
You can check out a video recap of the event HERE.
