Please join Capital Region BHA for a service project in Virginia’s George Washington and Jefferson National Forest July 7 at 8 a.m.
The U.S. Forest Service Wildlife Program and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries are working together to improve the day fishing at Strasburg Reservoir near Signal Knob. The forest service would like us to disperse fire rings, pick up trash and generally clean up the area around the reservoir. We will meet at the reservoir gate at 8 a.m.
Some fishing, hiking and / or a social event will follow the cleanup. Details TBD!
