While deer hunting is the king of fall, squirrel hunting is the best teacher of woodsmanship. Bring your kids, grandkids, significant other, someone who’s interested in learning to hunt for our final Central Arkansas event of 2022. We will meet at Mike Freeze Wattensaw WMA at 0530 and hunt until 1000 or you have a limit whichever comes first. Then meet backup to learn to skin squirrels and have a few giveaways from some of our sponsors.
Never hunted, don’t have a gun, not sure where or how to start? No worries we have you covered. Lea White, Becoming an Outdoors Woman, hunt coordinator will have a shooting class for women 18 and over on Sept 30th at the Mayflower Shooting Range. All Participants 16 and over must have a valid hunters ed card, hunting license with WMP endorsement and be ready to have a good time.
