Speaker Brad Allen of USFS will discuss the importance of our watersheds in New Mexico, stream and beaver ecology, how our restoration goals promote those processes, and how those processes will support our state fish, the Rio Grande cutthroat trout.
Saturday & Sunday - Lincoln National Forest Stream Restoration work
Help out at our Lincoln National Forest Stream Restoration work project happening Saturday, April 22-Sunday, April 23. Brad will also be leading our work over the weekend to install beaver dam analogs (BDAs), post assisted log structures (PALS), and one-rock dams (ORDs) on Big Bear and Anan Creeks on Saturday.
