Join us for the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Public Land Owner Film Fest at the Elks Theatre in Rapid City, SD on September 12th from 7-9PM. September is Public Lands Month and we’re kicking it off with a great evening of excellent entertainment, cold beer, and a raffle prize package that’s not soon to be beat!

We'll be featuring the films that were selected for the 2019 Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Public Land Owner Film Tour that premiered at the 2019 Rendezvous. This is a ticketed event so get yours while they last! A ticket package to the show includes a year membership with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, where you’ll receive a SD BHA logo t-shirt, sticker, 1 beer and our quarterly magazine, the Backcountry Journal, with BHA news, quality outdoor writing, and photos from our membership. Not to mention you’re supporting the fight for our public lands and you’ll instantly join an incredible network of hunters, anglers, and general outdoor enthusiasts.
At the show, we’ll also be selling raffle tickets to win one of our incredible prizes to be announced at a later date.
Additionally, we’ll have awesome BHA gear for purchase including shirts, hats, and mugs.
We are fortunate to have some revered public lands in South Dakota and BHA is celebrating these by sharing stories from a range of public land users who have been inspired, shaped, and molded by the experiences and opportunities that our public lands make possible. Films will highlight archery hunts, backcountry fly fishing, mule deer migrations, mountain bike fishing trips, and river running to name a few. The stories contained in each of these films underscore our common ground and common values. Most importantly they demonstrate how our public lands, water, and wildlife shape our lives and identities.
The Finer Details:
-If tickets are not sold out by day of the event, tickets will be available at the door
$35 ticket package – membership, t-shirt, sticker, and 1 beer
$15 ticket – 1 beer
$5 – Children 12 and under
-Memberships included in the ticket price can be used for a new membership, to renew an existing membership, or gifted to a public lands lover in your life
-We will gather the info needed for new members and gift memberships at the door.
