Boost your mileage on the Hike to Hunt Challenge while also partaking in boots-on-the-ground stewardship!
Join us on July 6, 8am at Soda Springs trailhead campground (driving directions below). Camping is available at first come first serve, no fee. There is a vault toilet but no potable water. Approximately 6 mile hike with roughly 1 mile of it off trail. Load consists of tarps, camp chairs, high lines, cooking equipment. This is an old, abandoned hunting camp.
Directions:
From Packwood, WA travel east on U.S. Highway 12 for about 9 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 45 and follow for 0.3 miles then continue on Forest Road 4510. Follow Forest Road 4510 for about 4.2 miles then stay right on the spur road towards Soda Springs Trailhead for about 0.5 mile.
