Join BHA and Wilderness Workshop for a weekend on the Roan Plateau helping to improve wildlife habitat and learning about ongoing efforts to protect this incredible landscape. We will spend the first day getting comfortable and exploring the plateau and the second day working with the BLM to remove old fencing that poses a hazard to wildlife before returning to the valley floor. All food, beverages are covered as part of this event and camping gear can be arranged if necessary. We will be meeting at the Rifle City Market (1320 Railroad Ave, Rifle, CO 81650) at 9am and carpooling/caravanning to our campsite from there.
