Join the New England BHA Chapter for an afternoon of field work at Carolina management area on May 6th, 2018.
Come out and meet your fellow BHA members and help improve our public lands! The New England BHA chapter will be clearing invasive plants and pruning trees under the guidance of the RI Department of Environmental Management’s Fish & Wildlife Biologists.
Please dress appropriately to be outdoors and bring water, snacks, work gloves and a fluorescent orange vest and/or hat if possible. Training and tools will be provided. In the event of bad weather the work day will be rescheduled for later in the month.
We will meet at 2PM at the Carolina WMA check station on Pine Hill Rd. in Richmond, RI for training before going into the field.
Please join us and bring a friend who you think might be interested in BHA! Members and friends from Massachusetts and Connecticut are invited as well.
