Come join BHA and the BLM to remove fencing from BLM public lands in important big game habitat on May 14 near and in the Pumphouse Recreation Area. This is a great chance to meet like minded conservation folks while giving back to our public lands. Lunch and drinks will be provided.
Schedule:
- 9 am: Meet at the Pumphouse Recreation Area parking lot (39.99072764706014, -106.5088035322751)
- 9-9:30am: Introductions & safety talks
- 9:30-2:30 or 3:00: Pull fencing
- 4:30: Optional happy hour at Rancho Del Rio
What to bring: Leather gloves (if you have them), safety glasses (sunglasses are fine), and fence tools (pliers, post puller, etc). We will have tools and spare gloves for those who need them. we will also be providing tools. Please bring a water bottle (there will be a water fill station on site), sunscreen, and proper durable clothing you're not worried about tearing (jeans/carhartts, boots, long-sleeve durable shirt).
